I’m Lena Hartog, a climate organizer, campaigner and trainer. I set things up, raise my voice and bring people together. And talk & write about it. To speed up the great transformation to a just society I work with movements and organizations that strive for ecological and social justice. I am a PhD candidate at the University of Utrecht, studying transformative power and emotions in prefigurative movements. I’m also co-producer of the Cost of Growth, releases with private grassroots screenings October 2025 before going to the film festivals in 2026. Next to this, I give talks and trainings on the societal transformation, social movements and finding your role. We sailed off in 2019 to go to the COP25 climate negotiations in Chile, with 36 participants from all over Europe to raise awareness on the impact of aviation.
